Today’s topic is: “Describe your perfect weekend getaway.”
This is an easy one because I’ve already experienced it! In January 2012, my now-husband and I spent a month adventuring in Belize and Costa Rica. Looking back, it was sort of our honeymoon, even though it was actually at the beginning of our relationship.
If given the chance to do it again, here’s where you can find me.
Perfectly manicured beaches, gently crashing waves, plenty of sunshine, delicious food and drinks, consistently pleasant weather, live local music, and no parenting responsibilities (at least for a few days).
As long as I’m dreaming, I would like to go for more than just a weekend, please. A week or two with just my handsome hubby… or maybe the whole family could get away for several of winter’s coldest months.
