Today’s topic is: “What would you include in a truly epic gift basket?”
The contents of a truly epic gift basket depend on who the basket is for.
For my city-living friends, I’d love to make up a basket of fresh-cut flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden, a dozen bright-orange-yolked eggs from our free-range chickens, and a bottle of my homemade wine.
For my fellow mommy friends, I’d include a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates, a luxurious bath bomb, some candles, a funny book, and a coupon for 4 hours of babysitting.
For city friends who have just bought their first house in the country, I’d deliver a basket full of seeds to plant in their garden and a handful of helpful reference books on homesteading, preserving, and other country skills.
